FEATURES:
• Installation & Integration - utilizes the Simrad Intelligent Marine Network - SimNet, which features plug and play operation.
• Automatic Tuning - includes a number of self calibrating features that automatically compensate for the unique handling characteristics of your boat and sea conditions.
• Contour Steering - utilizes data from your fishfinder or depth instrument to maintain a set water depth.
• Advanced Wind Steering - utilizes wind and GPS data simultaneously, it is possible to hit long distance waypoints dead-on, without deviating from the original course line or build-up of significant cross track error.
• Rate Of Turn Control - advanced control algorithms that enable smooth and precise turns regardless of sea conditions. This feature also improves tack and gybe performance on sailboats.
• Data Pages - view autopilot parameters such as compass heading, set course, rudder position, as well as information received from other SimNet compatible equipment such as GPS navigation data and
Simrad IS20 Instruments wind, depth and speed data.
• Virtual Rudder Feedback - unique feature on some models means that no rudder feedback unit is needed for outboards and stern drive boats saving a huge amount of installation time and aggravation.
• Multi-Station Operation - expanded multi-station compatibility offers several control options using the SimNet system.

AUTOPILOT COMPONENTS
• AP28 Control Head - LCD Display Resolution 130x104 (H x W)
• Autopilot Computer - contains the steering computer and electronics for the drive unit motor and clutch and provides interface to other system components.
• AC12 - for 8/16 Amp motor current
• AC42 - for 30/50 Amp motor current
• Rudder Feedback -
  • RF300 for inboard engines.
  • VRF (Virtual Rudder Feedback) for outboards and stern drives up to 40 ft.

• Rate Compass -
  • RC25 is a fluxgate compass with integrated rate of turn sensor.
  • RC42 is a rate compass with an integrated rate of turn sensor and transmits the heading even if the autopilot is switched off.
• Drive Unit - hydraulic pumps
• RPU80 - for steering rams 80-250cc / boats up to 35 ft.
• RPU160 - for steering rams 160-550cc / boats up to 50 ft.
• RPU300 - for steering rams 290-960cc / boats up to 70 ft.
