A bright clear 3.8" screen and simple to follow graphic displays make using the 3300 effortless and the rate gyro ensures a stable course heading. Auto diagnostics continuously monitors all components in the NS3300.

The Explorer AP380 has a 3.8" daylight viewable color TFT display that provides crystal-clear information on heading status and key pilot data. The master dial provides simple, precise access to course setting and menu items. Port and starboard LED’s indicate course adjustments. At a single glance from across the cockpit, even at night. One-button dodge and jog keys, easy selection of 90° / 180° turns, tack / gybe selection, on-screen animations of the vessel’s intended actions and progress through a turn.
A rate gyro is standard with every Northstar Autopilot.

Corepack

The Northstar Autopilot Corepack includes the course computer which contains advanced software algorithms and is the brain of the system. The course computer will incorporate position and navigation data from the GPS chartplotter and wind and speed data from the instrument system. The performance of the heading sensor is essential for the autopilot. The best steering algorithms cannot compensate for an unstable and inaccurate heading reference.
