Features Electronic Shock Protection! ESP is a brand new innovation for the marine industry. It basically works like a computer hard drive: it temporarily spins a CD at a faster rate than normal, giving it the ability to copy and store the music ahead of time. That storage acts as a buffer, so when the boat encounters a large jolt, the skipping is virtually eliminated!
The JBL MR160 solves the difficult display viewing problem with a red display so it's easy to tune in a favorite station or music track.
The Sirius-ready AM/FM/CD Receiver operates at 4 x 45 watts and has Sirius direct channel tuning with 20 pre-sets. It features electronic tuning, scan, seek and volume control. The CD player includes random and repeat play functions.
Configured for both wired and wireless remote control, and includes an auxiliary input as well as two pre-amp outputs. The JBL MR160 can be tuned for either US or European frequencies.
Easily installed, it requires only a 7-1/8" W x 2-1/8" H x 6-3/8" D cutout. A PUC moisture coating on its circuit boards resists water and increases product durability.
